Scripture
Matthew 13:47-48
47Once again, the kingdom of heaven is like a net that was let down into the lake and caught all kinds of fish.
48When it was full, the fishermen pulled it up on the shore. Then they sat down and collected the good fish in baskets, but threw the bad away.

16As Jesus walked beside the Sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and his brother Andrew casting a net into the lake, for they were fishermen.
17Come, follow me, Jesus said, and I will send you out to fish for people.
18At once they left their nets and followed him.
19When he had gone a little farther, he saw James son of Zebedee and his brother John in a boat, preparing their nets.

38Turning around, Jesus saw them following and asked, What do you want? They said, Rabbi (which means Teacher), where are you staying?
39Come, he replied, and you will see. So they went and saw where he was staying, and they spent that day with him. It was about four in the afternoon.
40Andrew, Simon Peter's brother, was one of the two who heard what John had said and who had followed Jesus.
41The first thing Andrew did was to find his brother Simon and tell him, We have found the Messiah (that is, the Christ).
42And he brought him to Jesus. Jesus looked at him and said, You are Simon son of John. You will be called Cephas (which, when translated, is Peter [Cephas] (Aramaic) and [Peter] (Greek) both mean [rock].).
Matthew 16:18
18And I tell you that you are Peter, The Greek word for [Peter] means [rock.] and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades That is, the realm of the dead will not overcome it.
Revelation 7:9
9After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands.
Isaiah 49:6
6he says: It is too small a thing for you to be my servant to restore the tribes of Jacob and bring back those of Israel I have kept. I will also make you a light for the Gentiles, that my salvation may reach to the ends of the earth.
1 Corinthians 2:9
9However, as it is written: What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived- the things God has prepared for those who love him-
