1 Kings 1:29-32
Then they searched throughout Israel for a beautiful young woman and found Abishag, a Shunammite, and brought her to the king.
The king then took an oath: "As surely as the Lord lives, who has delivered me out of every trouble,
I will surely carry out this very day what I swore to you by the Lord, the God of Israel: Solomon your son shall be king after me, and he will sit on my throne in my place."
Then Bathsheba bowed down with her face to the ground, prostrating herself before the king, and said, "May my lord King David live forever!"
King David said, "Call in Zadok the priest, Nathan the prophet and Benaiah son of Jehoiada." When they came before the king,

John 3:29

Ephesians 5:25-27
Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her
to make her holy, cleansing Or [having cleansed] her by the washing with water through the word,
and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless.
Ecclesiastes 1:1-2
The words of the Teacher, Or [the leader of the assembly]; also in verses 2 and 12 son of David, king in Jerusalem:
"Meaningless! Meaningless!" says the Teacher. "Utterly meaningless! Everything is meaningless."
Is there anything of which one can say, "Look! This is something new"? It was here already, long ago; it was here before our time.
No one remembers the former generations, and even those yet to come will not be remembered by those who follow them.
I, the Teacher, was king over Israel in Jerusalem.
I applied my mind to study and to explore by wisdom all that is done under the heavens. What a heavy burden God has laid on mankind!
I have seen all the things that are done under the sun; all of them are meaningless, a chasing after the wind.
What is crooked cannot be straightened; what is lacking cannot be counted.
I said to myself, "Look, I have increased in wisdom more than anyone who has ruled over Jerusalem before me; I have experienced much of wisdom and knowledge."
Then I applied myself to the understanding of wisdom, and also of madness and folly, but I learned that this, too, is a chasing after the wind.
For with much wisdom comes much sorrow; the more knowledge, the more grief.
